Music returns to chez Guibarra

My Allaes have arrived at last! They look lovely in maple, and are sounding wonderful, even straight out of the box. I have been living with temporary speakers for the last few weeks since I sold my IBLs, and they had removed all the life and enjoyment from my system. In fact I gave up listening through the speakers (Cura CA21) as everything was so dull and lifeless, and have been using headphones.
But the Allaes are very promising. They have the speed and imaging that I loved in my IBLs, but with more bass and a more even tonal balance. But that's enough typing for now, there's so much music to enjoy!
