CD upgrade for copyprotection

Hi!

Is it true that Naim will come out with an upgrade for the current cd players to make it possible to play copy protected CD´s on them?

Does anyone know if 1) this is true and 2) what the cost will be and 3) if you need to return the player for the upgrade?

Hi Thomas,

yes it's true!

There's no need to return the player to Naim. The upgrade can be performed by your dealer in about 20 minutes.

Jag fick nya Naim brochyren i brev lådan idag där det står att det finns en upgrade. Ring upp gubben du köpte grejerna av! Jag köpte en AV2 och en tre kanals stärkare (175) för nåra månader sen. Mycket skoj!
