Dave:
Sorry to hear that you are moving on.
Thanks for all of your help in the past. It has been a pleasure. Naim and NANA should give you kudos for good upkeep of the Naim standard. It may take a bit to replace you.
Good luck in the future.

was the title of Tim Buckley's second record on Elektra.
Oddly enough, I've spent a few days already in the month of May working on NANA-related projects--I think you'll be quite surprised.

Dave-
I too wanted to wish you well in your new career. You have been, like the Chrises of Nana, of invaliable, if unsung, help to many customers, and certainly all of the dealers. It is the behinds the scenes work of people like you that really makes for excellent customer service.
Does your departure mean that you won't be sending me back that Creek OBH power supply I was hoping you could turn into a Supercap?
Cheers,
Bruce

Hi Dave,
NANA will have to go some to fill your shoes. Thanks for getting my amps back into shape and for all your patience in dealing with my questions (questions from others as well. Hope you continue to provide information and wit to topics here at the forum. Best of luck in your new job.

Dave, While you leave here amongst these glowing tributes, I do hope your new employer has the good sense to insist that you get a good haircut since I never had the courage to tell you before. But I am sure you now realise that a ponytailed mullet is just really, really, bad style man.

Dave
Good luck and thanks for all those very informative replies, especially concerning technical questions. We learned a lot from them.
I hope Naim will decide to finally give Roy George Internet access in order to have some replies to our technical questions, now that Dave is gone!
Ciao!

I had plenty of hair in front, too--a mishap with a Pentium fan convinced me that IT work and long hair don't mix terribly well--actually, my coif is probably shorter than yours now!

My experience with DD over the years essentially mirrors the other accolades. The 8-10 pieces I sent back for refurbishing/updating were all brought up to sterling spec and usually back in my possession within 5 days from the day I shipped them- a feat that even Naim UK would envy. This degree of service instills a tremendous regard for the high level of committment that NANA must place on each and every customer regarless if the unit was an e-bayed Snaps, or a NAP500. I am sure that DD's eventual replacement will offer the same high level of technical prowess, familiarity with the entire product line and cheerful willingness.
It is at least consoling to know that there will at last be an IT guy out there who knows the his way around. Maybe we can expect to see a power supply upgrade for Dells? DUDE.. you got a DEVER!
