My first upgrade????

Hello everyone, I'm after some expert advice as to what to upgrade first, I don't have too much cash though.

I have a CD3.5 with flatcap, Nait3 and B&W CD1SE's. I have a superb Kimber interconnect, Yello power cables and a quadraspire rack.

Is the flatcap best on the CD player or maybe the Nait? What's the best way to go about changing to pre and power amplification and what kit would I need?

The flatcap is best on the CD3.5, maximising the potential of the source. For your next upgrade you should consider selling the CD3.5/flatcap and buying a Naim CDX or equivalent (Linn Ikemi, Rega P9 or Linn LP12/Akito 2).
