can it do any damich to my nac 202

Damage ? I don't believe so, I believe it's more of a electronic 'freeze' as there's perhaps a clash of codes between the TV and Naim remote codes....But please don't take my word, you should perhaps talk with your dealer and/or contact Naim....

Another possibility: It could be an earth issue. Many TVs float at half mains voltage. As soon as they are plugged into something like Naim, which has a proper connection to earth, then you've got the TV earthing through your Naim system. Not ideal, and can cause issues with the logic controls and even harm overall performance.

To solve this you should use some kind of isolator between the TV and Naim system. RCA isolators are readily available online and through electronics shops.

But it could well be the issue noted above. How close is your NAC202 to the TV?

mine nac is about 60cm away from my tv .it is not direkt connektet but whith an dennon avr. it is only the first five minits the frontpanel is fresing vhen i hold my hand on the naim logo there is no problem whith the nac 202 . the television is a sony ,exkurse me my english is not so good i am from denmark

ah.... if you're in Denmark, does your home have a mains earth? Not all do, so I'm told. I'd get in touch with Peter Stenberg at F3 (Naim distributor) who can offer more guidance here.

I have run a Nac 202 below our Sony LCD TV without problems. I suppose that my Nac was app. 60 cm from my TV.

Jeg er også fra Danmark.

Best wishes,
Peter
