Celestion SL700 experience?

Hi all--

Does anyone have any experience with the Celestion SL700? A friend is sending me a pair to experiment with. I remember they are very insensitive but could sound very good in the right room and system. I suspect they are rather more "round" than flat, but it will be interesting to find out.

I briefly owned a pair of SL600, driven by a 42/Hicap/Audio Research D70mk2. After a couple weeks I sent them back and exchanged them for a very early sample of the Musical Fidelity MVT pre-amp (July 1985), that although of lesser abilities than the 42/Hicap was in isolation much better then the SL600s- probably the most constipated, dullest and least involving transducer I have ever heard or owned.
