NAC52 warm up

Infidelity helpfully delivered my 52 two days ago and I am quite stunned by just how good it is (with CDS2/LP12/Aro/135s/SBLs).

I know it will take a long time to warm up and wonder:

1. If I leave the mute button on while playing something (eg when I go to bed), will this still help with running in?

2. If it won't, does the volume level have any effect?

3. And why do my 135s and S/Cap seem to be running warmer than they did with the 82?

Tim,

the 52 runs off 14 of the internal supplies of the SuperCap, whereas the 82 runs off four. Each of those 14 regulators is going to give off some heat...

The only explanation I can suggest for the hotter 135s is that the fundamentally more dynamic signal is causing them to put out more power.
