I have an imac and want to input all my CDs AIFF or Apple Losslees or 320 what would you good people suggest New to this computer thing

Depends what you want to do with the data.
If its purely to play back via digital out on the mac or from the mac ALAC is fine.
If its to distribute to naim devices, sadly they do not support ALAC.

Take some time and Google "computer audiophile" in quotation marks as shown. You will find a site that will help you understand all of the different choices that are available to you. FWIW, in my case, I have gone away from CD's and now use computer audio exclusively.

Floid,
storage is so cheap now, I can't see any reason to go for any of the "compressed" formats, such as Apple Lossless. AIFF is uncompressed and also is a format which stores all the "metadata" - track names etc..
