Men's Shoulder / hand bag

Posted by: David McN on 30 March 2006

OK OK - I know I risk exposing myself to ridicule but:
when, say, touring a foreign city where do you keep all those odds and ends like guide book, sunglasses, camera? It's OK for women they have their handbags.
Anyone come accross anything suitable for men which if effect works effectively as the male equivalent of a handbag.
Thanks David

Victor Quartermain's dog had a particularly nice handbag in "Curse Of The Were-Rabbit".

But otherwise... something on your back maybe?

Purse, actually. It was a purse.

Check out this site...

I've had one of their bags for a year. More pockets and zips and flaps than you can shake a stick at.

Also looks, ahem... not too girly.

Having slight back problems its actually really comfortable.

Cheers

David,

I have one of these:

Try Googling 'pochette', as its what they are called in France, where I bought mine.
