RE: Intro II's and bay windows

Posted by: Haroon on 07 June 2001

I'm moving into my new flat this weekend, and I have two options for placing the intros:

1. against a bay window - where the wall comes up to about a metre or two.

or

2. alongst the length of the room.

Which would be 'better'? what I have read on the board is that the Intros should be placed between 6" to 12" from the back wall.

However doesn't the design allow for free placing anywhere - hmmm like a bay window?

The other alternative is that I put the bed next to the bay window the hi-fi on the back wall - problem tho is it's a groundfloor flat and I don't wont my sleep to be disturbed by neighbours parking their car.

any suggestions?

My Credos are currently positioned in front of a bay window and they sound fine. As far as I can tell they seem to work well in a number of different placements and aren't all that fussy.

The best bet is to try them in situ and see what you think.
