i don't expect this to get posted. I really just wanted the moderator of the forum to know how I feel.
For the years I have been on the forum, Munch has always been there. It's obvious he loves the forum, by the number of posts.
I don't understand why he wants to bail, other than speculating that his emotions are out of sync with what it is possible to do on any forum.
If he lived around me, I would take him out for beer, vodka and boiled shrimp, and get his head straight, so he could view this forum in proper perspective. Unfortunately, an ocean separates us.
So as a moderator, don't be upset that I will miss him.
I'm an old guy, and it upsets me to lose a familiar face.
I'm still an active Naimer, and in November I will still do my power amp upgrade.
But I will miss Munch.
I think it's a classic case of cutting off your nose, to spite your face.

To echo what others have said, I cannot believe the way some people are posting on this and many other threads and the deterioration in the forum in general in the last year or so and especially since Adam departed.
Naim. Do you really think this is setting the right example to all the non-member lurkers?
There are many people on here that have much knowledge and experience and are keen to offer this to others; shame so much attention is diverted away from this because of a small percenatge of members who have nothing constructive to add.
I'm not surprised Stu is off and I would not be surprised if many others leave too. It's not like there arnt any other forums to join is it?
Mods, please pull this place together and make it the place it should be!

My post after munch's recent visit was in response to his dig at me.
Obvious unless you are myopic.
Munch *told* us he was leaving here, & I understand the reason is due to his own actions.
Like I said to Munch - you are a very sick man.
