I guess we all know about the efficacy of P.S.U's with Naim kit; but this truly is a blinder.
Everything in spades: Space, detail, insight, rhythmic drive, frequency extension.
If you can afford it; do it. Fantastic upgrade.
I just did the same about 2 months ago. I totally agree and I was fairly skeptical. But, my skepticism was quickly challenged. A truly significant upgrade!

J.N., my experience exactly. initially i thought that supercap on snaxo was overkill but paul j @ grahams assured me that this was definitely not the case.
the sbl's became "invisible". stronger notes. much more of the performers art coming thru.
yah, this is a very good move.

Maybe I should have checked the 'peer pressure' box in the "Why do we upgrade?" survey.

yes, you should have. that box is looking very lonely on its own...

I can't agree more. I've just replaced my two hicaps with a supercap on my 82. Wow. It's hard to imagine the difference a 'mere' power supply can make. The improvement definitely helps one get over the price shock!

I just gave you a 5-star rating to seduce more viewings as well as a tempting, yet vague, subject title.

P.S.
Another idea for a new username would be SuperNobb. You do have two Supercaps.
