Up and coming MOFI discs

Posted by: ewemon on 01 March 2009

These are some of the discs that MOFI are releasing up till May this year.

If they continue to produce discs of the sound quality as last year some of these are going to be excellent. Worth it for the price alone.

Ewen - do you import your Mofi discs or source them locally and from whom? I have given up with Acoustic Sounds etc as I keep getting custom duties.

I dont know - I kind of go for that cougar thing... and obviously it was quite cold that evening on the beach...

Seriously, Linda is probably my favorite singer, male or female. I just cant get enough of her voice. I have some great live recordings proving she could do on stage as well/the same as in the studio, unlike most singers these days. I also just copped the full video of Don Kirshner's Rock Concert ca. 1973 with the Eagles, Linda Ronstadt and Jackson Browne - performing alone, and together for a full 90 minutes. It is stunning. And she is absolutely gorgeous vocally and otherwise.

Have never bought from Accoustic Sounds postage is far too dear.

I usually get them from either eBay or Amazon US or UK and only buy 1 at a time.

I always check each site to see who are the cheapest. Caiman are usually very good price wise.

By the way wherehouse.com in the US have a sale on at the moment. 20% off all product and free shipping to anywhere in the world.

I have bought about 10 discs in the last few days. You can have as many orders as you want.

Offer ends on the 5/3/09.

Get your discs now.

Remember place any order up to $20. Then place another seperate order to the same amount. That way you will avoid customs.

Adrian the wherehouse sale has MOFI discs included. Now is a good time to buy.

I got a Chuck Berry today for just under £16 incl postage to the UK. That's cheap.

If you want a refresher as to current MOFI discs click this link.

You guys crack me up - but seriously, I'm really looking forward to this release.

There is so much new gold to be had. MoFi is going strong and now AF comes out with all these new releases as well.

Good times. Cool

That's a really good price considering the current FX rate. I get mine in the US for around $24 to $29.
