Jesus! I didn't know he was ill. That's very sad. What a shame.

Sad news - so much great music on the Factory label in the 80s and 90s.

I will be the first to say that I was not a fan of the type of music he encouraged but the honest truth is that we need inovation and drive and he had it in bucketloads.

This country needs more men like Tony Wilson and his departure is sad news all round.
