Threads (The film)

Hi
I was watching the BBC film Threads and remembered when I first saw it as a teenager and how scary it was then. The Americans had the film The Day After and the 60s film The War Game was shown then.
Was there any films made from the Russian or Eastern Bloc perspective ?

Sorry alex95 but I don't know about the Russian or Eastern Bloc (although as they were also facing impending nucleaur anniliation I guess there must be...).

I desperately want to track down a (VHS?) copy of this made for TV film as I remember it being trailed on TV at the time (1984, 1985?).
