Anyone have experience with this kind of set up? Does it work? What kind of connections? Do you need a *cap to make it work? Thanks.

You need a flatcap as a minimum to power the preamp (unless you fancy using a Naim AV2 surround processor).
You also need special interconnects between the *cap and the power amp (4-pin DIN -> 2 Phono). Note: Only switch everything on after having connected the bits.
It will work, but it's not a common thing to do, so results are variable.

Frank.

I used a 52 with a pair of the Exposure XVI (16s) monoblock amps several years ago. Worked a treat and was roughy the equivalent of a pair of NAP135s, different in some ways and certainly no worse all round.

I had forgotten that the 102 needs a power supply - I think I had driven it with the 108 for a time.
Thanks all.
