Who do we miss most..
I'd like to nominate a person
Nick McCabe former guitar guru in the Verve. Not a trendite name but a truly wicked musician
Anyone else wanna share with the group?

Garcia - always pushing it out there, and it didn't always work, but when it did...
To paraphrase Bill Graham, "it's not that Garcia is the best at what he did - he was the only one who did"
Musn't forget Lennon of course.
"All systems are perfectly designed to get the results they get."

Interesting that people equatemissing with dead.
I was thinking more along the lines of musicians who are still on the planet but not making music for whatever reason

Missing but not dead:
Syd Barrett (of course!)
Scott Walker (produced Pulp's ace album in '01, but has done nothing himself since "Tilt" and that odd soundtrack, both back in the '90s)
Kraftwerk (OK they played last year and they're still going, but, "Expo 2000" aside, they have produced no new material in almost 17 years, and they seem more intertested in preserving and recycling their old material than in creating anything new)
The Blue Nile (no album since Peace At Last in '95, no live activity in the UK since '97)
Throbbing Gristle (the mission was terminated in 1981)
MIssing and dead
Ian Curtis + therfore Joy Division (also Martin Hannett RIP)
Bonham + therefore Zeppelin
Can's Michael Karoli
Moon and Entwhistle
Malcom Owen (the Ruts - remember them?)
Nick Drake
Kevin

Where is Bill Nelson ?
Great work as Be Bop Deluxe, a few solo projects..... then, nothing ?
Did anyone ever hear a band called Honeycrack ? A superb debut album, band splits, members never heard of again.....?
Regards,
Brian OReilly

I've got a boxed 2xCD single copy of Sitting at Home by Honeycrack which I've tried to get rid of a couple of times with no success.
Make me an offer if you want
Good band like you say although god knows where they got to.
