s/h Aro

How much should I be looking at paying for a s/h Aro from the early 90's?

£500 - £800 depends if you are more keen to buy than he is to sell.

Most owners hang on to them.

Thanks.
Would I also need another armboard or does the Aro fit on a Linn cut board?

Royle,

I just sold mine, about 1995 I would guess, for £875. I had all the bits, boxes and a second counterweight.

Royle,

I sold mine 2 weeks ago, vintage 1995 ish, for £875. It had all the bits and a second counterweight.

You will need a new arm board. I imagine Naim can still supply them.

Christ on a bike! £875? I bought my 1990-ish LP12, with Armageddon and a mint, mid-nineties Aro, for £750 or so...

Don't pay more than £600, I'd say. A minter shouldn't cost more than this unless you're really desperate...

Good on you, Chris, if you managed to get £875! That's what I'd call a result!

Wibble. Paid just over £1,000 for ex-dem 62, 140 and Aro about 10 years ago. Seems like a total bargain now.

It's a grand old team to play for...
