I got the Jan Ekier edition of the Chopin Sonatas. They are the best edition of Chopin.

In addition, my girlfriend bought me a Black SNAIC (to replace my old grey-coloured one) - I can now get a little bit closer to the musicians. A nice upgrade!

I did one: I took my wife to London to hear the King's Singers, who are I believe her most loved musical act.
It was a surprise - I booked tickets, plane, Hotel, parking on the internet and on Sunday the 20th I told her we were going for a ride then took her to the airport.

London was snowy on Monday, very crowded and very festive. Though it took us an extra day to come back, thanks to flight cancellations, it was a very nice thing that made her happy.

Have used the excuse of man flu to hideaway with this, Ian Macdondald's Revolution in the Head book and a pair of headphones!!
