Miles Davis live recordings

Anyone heard this box

And if so are they able to offer any comments. Given the price (and my obsession with all things Miles Davis), I suspect it will find its way onto my shelf anyway, but I am curious. I know the company, who have turned out some very fine issues of out of copyright classical stuff (such as the Budapest Quartet's Beethoven and a forthcoming Schubert D960 sonata from Leon Fleisher) so I assume this falls into the same category, given the dates.

l'd make a fair bet that the quality of transfers will first rate, and accurately present the original recordings as well as can be done, going on the Budapest Beethoven recordings I have. These might be really fine! Personally I have always found Miles Davis' recording, done in the studio, often rather lacking in continuity and sway! I bet that he would be grand live though!

Tam,
I share this obsession with you and was not aware of this box set until recently. Keen to know if anyone has already given it a spin. Cool
