Pet Sounds

Pet Sounds is one of my all time favourite albums, however the sound quality on my vinyl copy is terrible. The pressing is fine but the production is horrible. It sounds like they are playing and singing in a glass bottile! I understand there have been many remasters and reissues - are any of these an improvement? I would prefer a vinyl copy but would also consider CD - any help is appreciated!
