My original message (Posted 2nd January 03)asked for advice on speaker recommendatios asking: "Current system CD3.5/flatcap, 92/flatcap & 90. Removal men damaged Intro II's so looking to get together a short list of speakers to listen too. Any suggestions?" I have now booked a demo to listen to EPOS M12's and Neat Critique 2's - the question is which stands do you guys recommend, wall positions, toed in or not etc?

David,
I have a pair of Epos ES11's and they are considered to be very a like to the M12's. They like their own stands with no or very little toe in. Distance from back wall vaires but (start off with about 30 CM) they don't like corners though so try to keep them 3 feet from a side wall. Check that the speakers have not been forced but placed on the spikes, so check the under side of speaker spike damage.
Also the best way to run them is to use NAC A5 with a F link connector so you don't use their Bi-wire links. The tweeter can also spray HF info about so be carefull with reflective surfaces.
They are a bit picky, but get it right and they are great.
