Safer driving system?

Those in following vehicles could take their hands off the wheel, read a book or watch TV, while they travel along the motorway.I'm probably being thick, but how is that any different from the way people drive on the M4 now?

Quite ROTF, It is my experience that the road train already exists. Try leaving a couple of car lengths between you and the car in front and watch how many drivers try to jump the train by filling the space you leave

driving around the north circular the other day there was a very talented chap driving in a white van in traffic with a burger in one hand a map book in the other AND a mobile phone tucked under his chin /shoulder.!!
should work pretty well for him.
