Little Dorritt v Horizon Special

BBC dropped tonight's episode of Little Dorrit in order to screen an Horizon Special about Shannon Mathews. Their advice was to watch the "repeat" that is nornally screened on a Sunday evening!!

When I tried to ring their Complaints line at 8:00 pm, the lines were full, so I sent an e-mail complaint instead.

Perhaps its only just me (and Mrs D) who were disappointed, and simply a co-incidence that the BT system went down at the same time.

So how many people here were delighted to have a topical and emotionally charged documentary screened instead of the literary delights of Dickens?

Cheers

Don

It's up to you EW, but I suggest caution - you could end up on the sex offenders register.

You love Little Dorritt, but you think the BBC is shit? Confused

Why would I end up on the sex offenders register??

When I say I love Little Dorrit, the series itself isn't great, but that girl (Claire Somethingorother) is something else.

Ah well, no harm in looking!

Little Dorrit scores them a few points, but all things considered the beeb are in negative numbers of considerable magnitude.

I thought she was 24? I'm 32. Bit long in the tooth I suppose but I'm still younger than Mr Clenham, the dirty old bastard.

More to the point, I imagine you would like to make a little donation to her - how many exactly?

I was suggesting we could run away together and live happily ever after - as you do - because she's the girl of my dreams.

Probably... but I'm still younger than Mr Clenham! Anyway, 32 is not all that old!

Never mind. I'm poor too and therefore quite accustomed to window shopping... Frown
