Ashes to Ashes

Anyone see the new one? Seemed a lot more like Life On Mars rather than the first series of AtoA and the better for it.

And KH is still beautiful.

I was big fan of Life on Mars and enjoyed it again recently courtesy of the free DVD offer in a well known Sunday paper. Ashes to Ashes (series 1) was not as good, but series 2 looks promising.

The big difference in the original LOM series and ATA was the spark from the Sam/Annie story line. I will be interested to see where this series ends up and will be watching.

Had to record this as Mrs S wanted to watch Hell's Kitchen. I'm not sure when I'll get round to watching it but I've got the series link set up (Sky+ is wonderful).

Is it on HD? I only had a few seconds to set the box to record it last night as I'd forgotten that it was on so recorded BBC1.

Good again tonight - I'm sure the guy glued to the board was for Solvite though, not Superglue...

If you watch it on digital, the red button takes you to an Ashes to Ashes sing-along. It shows the TOTP footage of the tracks used in the show and displays the lyrics in karaoke fashion. I had no idea what Come On Eileen was all about until last night! Gene Hunt's intro to each song is also amusing.

Solvite it was but a bit of poetic licence I think. Masons being solvited together would have sounded silly!
