i 'm currently using a mission 761 speakers. i got it dirt cheap from my friend last year roughly around GBP50. just wondering, when did this speakers first came out?

Hi,
The Mission 761 was my first speaker and I must say its a great performer. Around 1988/89. At that time I was driving it with NAD 3020i and it already boogie like nothing else. If I am not wrong, It is a sealed box design without port. I guess that accounts for its foot tapping ability. I can imagine how it will sound with naim amplification. But GBP 50 seems a bit expensive for such a old speakers.
