Diccuss,
The Furs were a great band live, saw them many times in small venues like the F Club in Leeds, as well as larger places like the the Lyceum in London. Got all their output on vinyl (33, 45's and 12") up to and including the second album. Still stuff I listen to from time to time and am proud to own.
Been a good Christmas, had 12 adults and 7 kids for turkey and stuffing today. Now having a bit of quiet time before bed.
Regards
Nic

Sounds great fun. We have had a house full (now heading back to Northumberland. Nice to have family but nice to return to normal(ish) routine.
Have you got Black Saint and the Sinner lady (Mingus) ?
All the bessie for Boxing Day and the Barcodes (doh)

Diccuss,
I know what you mean about returning to normal. The earliest I have been to bed has been 2 AM for the last 4 days. Never seen so much washing up, fortunately ther have been many willing helpers.
Family commitments have meant not getting to the Bolton match, and I am doing a "likely Lads" so do not tell me the score. New Year's day match looks a bit tricky, but on a roll at home at the moment.
Not got either of those Mingus discs, should I add them to the shopping list?

Jet,
Not sure I can agree with you on this one. At the time they were doing something that the competition were not doing, and sounded pretty good. Put "India" or "Sister Europe" from the first album on, with the volume cranked up a bit, and come back and say they were not a bit different.
