High-Pod

Has anyone (else) tried to load The Blue Nile's "High" into iTunes/iPod?

I have had no problem with any other cd, but this loads the information from Gracethingummy and then proceeds to import 9 short silences.

Curiously enough I have two copies of this album as I was given a promo copy before release (I know someone who used to work for Sanctuary records) and then someone bought me another for my birthday. Both play fine in the cd player.

I can live without it, obviously, but it has made me curious.

And I am new to the pod business (I'm still on the 'b's!!) so sorry if this has been discussed before...

Cheers

I have the same problem Rod and you're right it was discussed back when it was released. Seem to recall that some of the more technically competent were able to do something with it but not with iTunes.

Enjoy ripping your collection. It's a great way of revisiting some of the stuff that doesn't get played very often.

I think I just recorded the bugger into my iPod through my audio interface (or line in, can't remember) and iPod-ded it and made a CD backup.

I have no idea why I have a Naim now. I listen to 90% of my music on the 'ol Pod.
