Silver HiFi

I just visited the Densen website and noticed they're doing an Albino (silver to you and me) version of their gear. Looks pretty cool to me though I haven't seen it in the flesh yet.

Anyone else got or would like silver (or none black) HiFi?

I wonder if Naim have got any plans for this option in the future?

Linn's silver stuff looks pretty spiffy.
Mana has taken something that's ugly and made it garish to boot by making it silver. Eek

Silver on any form of consumer electronics is awful, IMHO. It will date, and in the case of those ridiculous aquarium TV's, has already done so. Black is at least relatively invisible. What next? Beaten copper to match the fireplace hood? Eh? Eh?

Down to individual taste?

Although I've got a silver Myryad amp, I reckon silver kit looks bloody awful. The whole maple vinyl wrap / silver / chrome thing is a short-lived garish load of crap which shows the ability of the masses to follow the blinding image seen in Dixons' window.

I've seen the high end Linn amps; all silver with blue lights.

Looks whisky wow wow. So it matches my coiffure...
