Shahinian Hawk + Elf

I saw these on audiogon, what do you think? Are these very old or fairly new. How do they sound, are they worth the $. 1600.00 us. I have Nac 82 Hi, CDX, Nap 250. Thanks and let me know any opinions. I contacted Shahinion and there is no dealers near me in Seattle. Let me know what you think. Thanks Ted.

I don't think that these are available anymore. The Hawk and the Elf are two seperate speakers now, aren't they. It appears that in the configuration shown on Audiogon, the Hawk was in fact a subwoofer, while the elf was seated on top.

As I understand it, the Hawk is now a complete speaker in and of itself. The elf is a small stand mounted minitor now.

That said, these set on Audiogon looks absolutely STUNNING and I bet would sound awsome. They have to be quite old, but they appear brand new.

Anybody, please help me out with all this stuff. had I not just purchased new speakers, I think I would go for them.

Turns out the Hawk is still just a subwoofer. But apparently the elf has been replaced by the Hawk module.

Still looks awesome.

Hello Guys
The complete Hawk loudspeaker is essentially a Hawk Mono subwoofer with the Hawk top module with the Mid and treble and super tweeter set up. You can use the Hawk Sub with the Elf as the top 'module'..It still sounds great..

It's areally good way to buy a pair of Hawks in two stages..
