Keith, Munch is right. Please don't shout! Where did you buy the cds? There have been several discussions lately about the merits/demerits of the Japanese cardboard sleeve reissues (which I presume is what you meant?) I get them either from CDJapan or HMV Japan. They usually describe the source of the remastering. As I write this I am copying a bunch of Kinks reissues into iTunes. They sound bloody good.

Like Chris I usually buy mine from cdjapan. Great delivery service and you get loyalty points. They usually tell you where the discs were made. The Japanese usually do 6-9 months runs of normal released discs before deletion. But cardboard sleeve discs are usually on a very limited run.

I can't say I have ever seen that before on cardboard sleeve discs. In fact even cdjapan doesn't list them as being made in WG. Which is highly unusual.

Where did you get them from?

THE CDS WERE PURCHASED AT HMV HIGH STREET SHOP.THEY ALL HAVE A BLACK STICKER ON THE FRONT TO SAY THEY VINYL REPLICAS,BUT IN VERY SMALL PRINT NOT TO BE EXPORTED TO JAPAN.BUT EVERTHING ON THE SLEEVE AND ON THE LABEL SIDE OF THE CDS SEMS TO POINT TO A JAPANESE DISC.

Keith
(just in case you were not aware)

when you write your posts entirely in capital letters it is viewed on forums as the equivalent of shouting, and is usually reserved for when you are angry or want to make a point very strongly.

I'm assuming www.cdjapan.co.jp as www.cdjapan.com seems to be a generic site linking onto others?
