antony - are you looking for classical vinyl or classics as in non-classical classics.
If it is the latter then try the Freak Emporium. I often find smaller record companies are very helpful too such as Bo'Weavil and this one.

Comprehensive selection of new records.
The only thing worth watching is that clicking on the 'Forthcoming Release' button gives you a 'pre-order' option.
My only experience of this (a couple of years ago) was that their secure system asked for credit card details without confirming a price first. And neither was the price confirmed before the card was debited and the record dispatched.
That was possibly an early glitch in their system and it may have been revised now for all I know. But I don't know, because I have not gone down that particular route since.
'Forthcoming Releases' does give a release date for new stuff and so I simply order at release. Fine.

Nic - another drain on the bank balance. I'm not sure I should be thanking you, but I am.

Huwge,
Some good stuff on it eh!
Got a new copy of Blues For The Fisherman from there recently. Fantastic transit packaging, so records arrive in mint condition. A nice touch was the inclusion of including a spare lined sleeve to replace the original paper one that came with the record. I will definitely use them again.
Sorry about the drain on your finances.
