Sound Organisation table

Hi Y'all,

After checking out the 'Corras' (bedroom)table at IKEA, I decided to forget about it.
In the end I found it too high, and they were in 4 different feneers but none of 'em to my liking.
(and I also wanted to do the 'right' thing instead of the 'cheapest alternative'.)

Checking out this forum and having seen some system pictures of forum members (Andrew Randle,Rob Holt, etc), I came across the old Sound-Organisation table.

To make a long story short... I want one!

They seem to be great bang for the bucks and I even like the looks of it. Even though they're not finished in beautifl luxureous cherry or maple feneer like say a Quadraspire, I like the simplicity of the SO tables.

And another thing: These days many HiFi support manufacturers seem to think that people own a system of at least 4 component.
I only need a small, rigid but light, two/three shelf rack.
(and I hate those glass/iron framed racks)

So,I guess that one of those classic SO tables are the perfect support for my little Nait-2/CDX setup.

Unfortunately,....It also seems that SO doesn't make this table anymore. (nowadays they only make those horrible glossy 4 to 5 shelve supports)

Is there anybody who know's a dealer/person who want's to ged rid of it? big grin roll eyes

btw: What would a s/h SO table have to cost ?
(would P&P be very expensive when sent from, for example UK to Holland?)

Greetings,
Alco smile

Personally I like the simple, minimalistic, square looks of the old SO supports.

I'd be happy to trade my black SO table for a phase 7 Mana Reference Table and some 'Brik Mana stands...

Hi Mainless,

welcome.

Please post some more. We can use a little new blood, esp. if it's supported by Ikea.
