n-Vi amplifier connection

Does anyone know whether it is possible to connect a n-Vi directly to a power amplifier for the front channels, rather than via a pre-amp?

Yes, with appropriate cable(s). You may also need to adjust the trims to account for differences, if any, in gain between the internal and external amplifiers.

What amps are you using?

Currently the n-Vi is feeding a NAP300 via a NAC52. I wonder whether I could feed it directly into the NAP300.

You would need a 5 pin 180 to 2x XLR y-lead.

Do you have the unity gain mod fitted to the 52 pre amp?

Thank you.

there is no unity gain, so currently both the n-Vi and NAC52 volume controls are being used.

I was worried whether by-passing the pre-amp would cause something to blow up if I directly fed into the power amp.
