Speaker cable question

Do any of you remember a speaker cable called 'Zap 2 by MIT'? I have recently bought a 102/180 to run with my updated Sondek Valhalla/Akito/ Ortofon Rohmann and CD3.5/Flatcap2, and I am thrilled with the sound through my Linn Keilidhs with the latest tweeters.
I have had the Zaps through several incarnations of the system, since about 12 years,and they are now converted to biwiring cables.I like the sound - I'm not on an upgrading path here, strictly speaking - but I would like very much to know something of the history and specifications of these cables and what any of you might suggest as even better cables to improve the sound again.As little as I do know, I imagine from the name that these were originally marketed as cheaper-end 'fast' cables?
