The Dead Weather

Jack White has unveiled a new band called the Dead Weather here.

The new band takes White from the front of the stage back behind the drum kit, while the Kills’ Alison Mosshart mostly handles singing duties. The two are joined by White’s fellow Raconteur Jack Lawrence on bass and former touring Raconteur/Queen of the Stone Age Dean Fertita on guitar.

Third Man will release the Dead Weather’s debut LP, Horehound — which White produced — in June.

Denis, I'm trying to imagine how I'd feel if my daughter brought any of that lot home to meet the folks...and struggling for words.

I'd be in seventh heaven. A wonderful player for two seasons before his knee-wreck (that pic is several ops later).

The nearest I can get to that is that elder daughter is dating a real tennis player (which is interesting).

Back on topic, I rather liked the youtube stuff - a bit more interesting than Elephant, which I found almost totally unmoving. I'll investigate further - thanks Denis!
