All is well with my world...

Not sure if this post belongs in the music room or elsewhere? However, the sun is shining and I know I ought to be out and about enjoying the good weather - but I've just spent a few hours listening to the White Stripes - no one else in the house, no kids, no partner - just me Naim an excellent band and a volume dial that keeps wanting to go past 11 o'clock!
Air guitar, goose bumps and few pints of my fav' brew (yes I know its only 2.00pm) but hey life is for living!
Cheers,
Dave

Honestly Dave;
Such decadence in the middle of a Friday!
And you seem to be completely happy with your system, and not asking for upgrade advice.
Outrageous.

Dave
Surely you really want to upgrade that Nordost Blue Heaven & Red Dawn stuff and not just sit around enjoying your music from your current system.
Isn't hifi about upgrading hifi components and not merely using it to hear any old (or new) music you happen to have and greatly enjoy listening to.
Much better to listen to a tweak and see if it brings out better imaging with some pink noise from a hifi test record than listen to music.
Or am I missing something - now where are those £10,000 isocones 3s that I was trying.

Hi ROTF,
I have a confession to make - I have gone through all the upgrade stuff and angst, tweaks with power supply position, I spent ages changing cables etc... and I have even gone back to Naim cables.... shhh my profile is out of date - yes I have returned to Naim cables BUT nothing brings more pleasure than some real quality time playing some of your fav' tunes - call it selfish indulgence - but I have seen te light!! To me NAim is all about the music... hey I can get 100's of CD's for the price of???
Cheers,
Dave

Yeah, I recently spent a hot Saturday moving and cleaning and restacking my system, thankfully it was in front of the AC. Speakers are set on the inside now and a new Revelation 8 strip plug 2 weeks old. Sounds good, sit back and let the music flow. I try to discern what's improved but then I just lean back and enjoy.
I've thought of dumping a few poorly performing stocks and buying a 250.2 But hey, I'd have nothing to long for after that would I?
angst and nirvana, the never ending struggle.
