Is the Labour Party finished?
Or can they bounce back if they sack Gordon Brown?
Please discuss!

Cue scene from Oliver with lots of happy orphans dancing down the street and the blind girl on the street corner selling matches.

Interestingly the Labour Party's future could well be decided in Scotland, where they are competing against the Nationalists rather than over the UK as a whole. If you run through the figures Labour would rarely, possibly never have commanded a sufficient majority to form a government without it's Scottish seats.

Yea and didn't Romney Marsh keep wicket for Australia in the "good old days" before New Labour
New Labour Old Labour. New voters are excited, old voters are cynical - I wonder what it will to make politicians wake up to this fact. Oh no I forgot they dont like the truth do they - silly me.

And if you compare the far right (in councils) seats in England as opposed to Scotland, without the balance we now have a future English parliament may have some Nazi members.
Food for thought

Disagree as your not voting would be taken as apathy, best thing is to spoil your ballot paper if everyone did this who's had enough and doesn't want any of the candidates it would at least count.
I'd love to see an election with results say:-
LAB 20%
CON 20%
LIB 20%
Spoiled papers 40%
That would get there attention and perhaps get them to change the current system.
The transferable vote was rubbish in London as they only took the top two candidates an then transferred the vote. So only LAB & CON had a chance to get in. Wonder what the results would have been if they had applied the transferred vote to the top 3 - LIB maybe.
