Upgrading advice please

Hello all

My local Naim dealer is selling a NAC52 and 52PS dated around 1991 for £2000.

My current system CDX/102/250/NAPSC/HI-CAP and Dynaudio 42 speakers.

Would this be a worthwhile upgrade?
Is the dealer asking too much on price?
Or would you change something else first or add within my system? XPS or Speakers.

I would appreciate your thoughts

Cheers

Thanks Alex and Allen for your sound advice on the 52.

Since my post and after quite a bit of listening to my system, I have decided to keep my existing Naim Pre amp, the 102/Hi-Cap and the new NAPSC is a great combo.

My thoughts have now changed toward my Dynaudio 42 speakers; I have had these since my Nait 3 days and I fancy a change. (Must be the solar flares I’ am dying to spend some money on upgrading)
About 9 months ago I tried the Spendor S3 mini monitors, great sound in my small room of 13x12ft but I couldn’t afford them at the time.
After a bit of digging around on the web and after reading various reviews I would like to try Spendors new S3/5se, which is based upon the famous LS3/5 BBC monitor.

Good review on the following link:

I hope to try these speakers in the near future, the 102 is staying for the foreseeable future!
