Digital photo printing

I want some 12x8 prints of my favourite photos from my 10mp Nikon d80. The files are JPegs edited in 16 bit from the original NEFs of 3-8MB in size

I recall from my 35mm days results are very variable. Wheres the best place to get them printed?

I use photobox. Easy to use and good quality prints.

You could register, order a few standard size prints and assess the quality.
