Telephone Seat

For Sale

Telephone seat, mahogany with storage door and cream cushion, beautiful design and in showroom condition.......... £50

Just saw this ad in our local paper. Once these things were the height of fashion to have in the back passage (oh err missus). Come on admit it, does anyone on the Forum still own one and if so do you still sit on it to take calls.

Photo is sadly not the one in the ad.

All the Rage in me mother's day.

Apart from the shag and ducks (which have been put in for a laugh by some naughty boys who normally sit at the back of the bus), page 2 of this thread is absolutely GLORIOUS!

It reminds me of some old family friends I visit each year, with their intact classic limegreen '70s kitchen. Wonderful! and I'm being neither sarcastic nor ironic...

I'll just get my coat - off to listen to my John Barry 'themes' LP, with a picture of Roger Moore and Tony Curtis on the front.

(Which classic '70s TV series? - an easy one.)

How CRUEL! In 1975 he was arrested and convicted for an act of "gross indecency" with a truck driver in the toilets of Gloucester bus station. His career never recovered
