New(ish) Dread Zone Al***

Got it today, alas couldn't find it on vinyl.

Its OK, but it hasn't jumped on me like Second light did, or indeed 360.

I am hoping this is a 'grower'

Nick bang on the mark. I played the first few tracks on my imac as I was redressing the sbls, to say the least it was a little uninspired, however through the CDi at 10 oclock I have discovered a 180 and SBL do bass!!

Not convinced yet but hey I am typing away and my feet are tapping so something is working out.

For everyones info I also purchased the following this week, (so much for the stopping buying music bit)

Van Morrison: Hymes to the Silence ( I have heard this before and knew I wanted it, well I found it on some pristine vinyl for 6 quid, well happy)

Masters at work, Our Time Is Coming (how do I explain? Its kind of 70s female funk, mabye blaxplotaion stuff but with housey style bass and drums layered on top. Very well done and enjoyable, not a knock out but glad I got it on vinyl)

David Holmes: Come Get it, I got it (This baby is straight out of the 60s/70s hardcore stuff a little like The doors stuff, massivly weird undergrouond stuff from way back when, but again with new phat beats on top, recommended if you are hard core enough big grin )

Mother Earth: as mentioned on another thread here, get it folks, you owe it to yourself.

After typing all this and listening to dread we have moved from track 7 into 8, very nice, nick as usual you have it in the bag.

I just need lots more vinyl for this Linn Klyde, so much of it I may just buy randomly and see how it turns out!
