I remember they wheren't concidered a "proper" rock band, one of them had glases and they never throw any TV-sets into the pool Winker

Must listen to "Crime of the Century" again. A great album!

I was accused of listening to "wank rock" whan mentioning Supertramp.

Yes indeed Johan, a great album. And when you consider that it was produced before the advent of digital jiggery-pokery, the production is quite something.

Is the onanism essential Big H? I better make sure that the curtains are closed.

I guess such name callers tried to teach us how to be sensible, logical, responsible, practical, when all they did was show us a world where we could be so dependable, clinical, intellectual, cynical.

And at night when all the world´s asleep. and questions run too deep .... I know it sounds absurd but I'll be enjoying the sounds of Supertramp too.

Well I like 'em and think Crime of the Century and Breakfast In America are fine albums.

Must admit John Helliwell's Creme Anglaise 2 years ago in Stockport were better than tonight's offering.

yes I regularly spin Breakfast in America and Crime of the Century on the black stuff but that performance was very lacklustre.

I agree. I saw them twice in the mid 70s and they were always very exciting live.
This felt flat.

I agree no "soul" they just looked as if they were going through the motions without emotions.

I'm glad it isn't just me then. I loved them in the 70's and last year I bought Crisis & Sale Of The Century on CD. I hadn't heard them for 20 years, but they just didn't date well for me. I couldn't play them all the way through. That John Helliwell used to get on my tits anyway. Huge respect for them though.
