anyone out who heard a 300???

Along with several other Naim fans, I heard the 300 in comparison to the new 200, 250 and 500 at the Naim factory a couple of weeks ago. Whilst there was unfortunately no opportunity to compare it with 135s, the 300 was, for me, the pick of the bunch given its performance v cost. I doubt that I could/would ever afford a 500 but a 300 is 'almost' within reach.

Although I've always liked 135s, the 300 got the pulse racing and was one of the standout products of the day.

I take it from the silence, no one has done a 300/135's comparison yet?

It therefore begs the question, have the 300's hit the dealers yet or will they hit the dealers at some future date?

Yes, I have already ordered (and provided a hefty down payment) on a NAP300, with the idea of replacing a single pair of NAP135s currently residing in the 6x135/DBL to end up with 4x135/1x300/DBL. For reasons of wiring this can be done with only the tweeter pair. To run the single 300 running either both bass units or both mid drivers would require some Snaxo rewiring.
Delivery expected some time in November. Keep your eye on this spot for comparison to follow.
