Powering on-off with napsc

Posted by: timster on 23 October 2003

Just installed psc with 202 last weekend and was curious about switching it on and off because it doesn't have a switch.

Question - When switching the system off, should it (psc) be unplugged before or after the HC2? Or doesn't it matter? (I assume the reverse when switching on.)

thanks

Hi Tim,

This will be the first of about 300 replies telling you to leave your Naim switched on at all times.
You have been warned!

I switch it off when there's thunder and lightning, otherwise it does stay on....

First, don't power off your system, it will take a few days to come back on song.
As long as you switch off the amp first and wait 1 minute, the order for the others is not critical. For power on, the amp is the last.

by amp, Manu means the power amp.

Power amp off first and on last, other orders don't really matter.
