£100 DVD player

This may well be too cheap for you guys but I need a bog standard player to play mainly the kids dvds through normal telly. Two scarts minimum. Toshiba seems to have a good reputation on this Forum.

Can you go to £120.00? This forum always pushes you eh? Anyhow get the Cambridge Audio DVD 86 from Richer Sounds. I have just set up a mate with a stereo home cinema with this. Amp is a a Nait 3 with original Rega Elas and the sound is frankly amazing for this price. Even on CD.
This player has digital video output as well.
Hope that helps

What HiFi seem to recommend a couple of Toshiba players, one at £50 and another around £100. Frankly, with the kids I'd go for the cheaper one!

Fozz,
Sounds like a good set up for your mate but a bit pricey for me. Cheers for the advice.

Hi that's fine Diccus, I was really only suggesting the player part LOL, for its brilliant sound quality, you may have found it in your system... Happy New Year.

Bought a cheap Toshiba (£35) last night and colour is all washed out. I shouldn't be such a tight Ar**. The bugger's going back.
