With an olive NAP250 and SBLs I preferred the Naim to the Kimber cable. Most importantly, what speakers are you using?

Hi HD

Best thing for you would be to visit your nearest Naim dealer and borrow lengths of NAC A5 pre terminated and compare them to your own. Good Naim dealers usually have a few sets made up that you can borrow. I think I would prefer the NACA5 but you may be feel differently.

I use Kimber 4 PR with my 180-sbl's, and it sounds fine. You do need to try within the context of your own system tho-as has been suggested elsewhere. Good suggestion re borrowing some Naim cable...

I used Kimber 8TC but I was just starting out on the Naim learning curve. My Naim dealer brought some NAC A5 to try.

The bass was suddenly there and the 250 amp seemed to relax and sing. The 8TC cable tends to drive the amp towards oscillation.

Other Kimber Kable may prove to be less harmful, but my experience and advice is to stick to what Naim recommend as the cable is part of the amp output circuit.

Hope this helps, Robert
