Back to Aberdeen after a lovely week in London but Bertie Airways are having problems at Terminal 5 and decided we didn't need to arrive home with our luggage .

My sister works for BA longhaul out of Heathrow. She commutes from North Wales and used to do so using the Manchester shuttle. She now drives as she had too many incidents where she would fly down and then be unable to work because they lost her uniform bag!!! You couldn't make it up!!!

T5 is just a shopping mall that occasionally has flights landing and taking off (without folks luggage).
The security set up on arrivals is shocking and what's with the buses to and from the planes still?
Posted on: 29 June 2009 by Derek Wright
T5 is owned and operated by a heavily indebted Spanish company - BA happen to be the tenants.

I was able to avoid T5 in the past but I don't think I will get around it the next time I come to the Uk. Frown

Don't complain.... write a song and get even.

There was a group flying United Airlines that saw the baggage handlers trash his guitar in it's case. The denial for responsibility pissed em off. They got even, he wrote a song about it and put it on youtube with video. Very funny, and I"ve seen it on the evening news as a closing funny story, boy they must be hurting now.
