ProAc Tablette

Hi!
I was wondering if anyone uses ProAc Tablettes with his Naim gear? Any ideas if it would be a good match with a CD5 and Nait 5?
Thanks!

This speaker has undergone major revisions in recent years. The current Tablette 2000 sounded absolutely shite on the end Naim to my ears - loads of false "boom" for the AV crowd.
The older Tablette Signatures are OK if you like the ProAc sound but may be too lean. Tablette customers have a way of craving a sub after a while. I'm using ProAc Response 2's and looking to change.

...the Tablette 8's yet. The Response 1SC is still available, but costs more and is less efficient. Plays louder though.

Hi Bas,
I guess you're talking about the Tablette 50's in that nice cherry feneer that are for sale at ...you know (Ferry)
I really like the looks of the little Tablette's. (even more then the SF's) But I listened to them and they sounded very forward and harsh. The bass was very well controlled though. The salesman told me they sound beautiful on the end of a valve amp.
Greetings,
Alco

. . . both the 1SC and the Signature 2000 and much preferred the 1SC. Treble less hars, mid range not as lean, nice and fast. They are fussy to drive although now that I have upgraded to CDX, my 140 copes just fine with them. There is quite a price difference. 1SC's show up second hand every now and then on Audiogon.
One other thing, filling the stands made a pretty big difference.
