RIP Dan Fogleberg

It deeply saddens me to announce that Dan Fogelberg died yesterday of prostate cancer aged 56. What a sad loss to the music community.
Like so many others his music helped me through a sticky patch once in my life. For those of you who have never heard his music try Innocent Age.
May he RIP.

I just borrowed the phrase "Twin Sons of Different Mothers" a few days ago on another thread......from a fine, fine album with Dan Fogleberg and Tim Weisberg. I haven't heard DF music in a few years .... sad news.

Sorry to hear this news too. A gifted and spiritual songwriter who seems to have been around forever. I can't believe he was only 56.

Sad news indeed. 'Souvenirs' is an old favourite of mine, which will be getting a spin in memory of Dan.

But as always there will be another two because these deaths always seem go in three's.I wonder who they will be.
Ike Turner not one of three then maybe?
RIP Dan.

I remember quite well "Hearts in decline" from the Exiles album.
Shame so young.

I've just discovered
Dave Gunning via the Bob Harris Show, and have his latest 'House For Sale' CD.
Echoes of Dan Fogelberg to my ears, in the voice and music of this young Canadian. I think the album is consistently very good.
John.
